Ariana Attie

I like to write Pop and Country songs that are rhythmically interesting, contemporary,
and have lots of catchy hooks. Pop variations include indie, dance, EDM, electro.
Country leans toward contemporary country pop.

Award winning singer, songwriter, arranger, producer, chocolate chip cookie queen, lover of pop and multi-cultural fusions of music, huge fan of personal transformation, Ariana's recorded music has been heard on radio stations across America.  It has also been played on national television, heard in film, and on internet radio and television.  She has performed live across America in venues from the Hollywood Bowl, to the Los Angeles Convention Center, to the International Olympics Village.

Other artists who have recorded her songs include Pegasus Project, Mona Lisa, and Bob Martinez.  Her songs have been placed in film and TV including Beaches, the NBC series Hard Times on Plant Earth, Ancient Wisdom for the 21st Century, and Future Consciousness.

Early in her career she was signed to indie record label SOVIE Records.  She also fronted a jazz band, Zephyr, a country rock band, High Noon, has been the lead singer and dancer on a national tour with Deja vu, one of the recipients of the John Lennon Songwriting competition, and award winner in a national acappella competitions as a member of The Joy of Six.

Her penchant for powerful, positive songs comes from a strong background in the arts.  Having first designed costumes for the Los Angeles Ballet Theatre, she then became a successful fashion designer.  Opening her own menswear business with her partner, singer Lou Rawls, she quickly won a National Design award for her creations.  Eventually designing for young women, some of her designs and interviews appeared in the Calendar and View sections of the L.A. Times and in Newsweek Magazine, as well as in the major fashion trade magazines.  That boundless creativity and sense of balance and style translated seamlessly into her music career, which is still a work in progress.  Ariana has had a publishing deal with Sharp Objects in Nashville, and is now excited to be a contributing staff writer for the OC9 Music Group.
